"We're from a town where it's sports over everything"

What's said between the lines, should stay between the lines.

Trash-talking. Everyone does it. Your grandmother has probably done it.  But has your grandmother ever posted on her "twitter" account what her counterpart said? In every single major sport and even in your backyard sports, there will be some sort of trash-talking, and thats where it should stay..... in the backyard, on the court, or on the field. As everyone already knows, Charlie Villanueva went twitter crazy over KG's remarks on him looking like a cancer patient. I guess when you don't play for a D-1 college anymore and you aren't seen on National TV on almost a daily basis, you decide to pull this.

Only KG and Villanueva know what was said. Whether he referred to Villanueva as a "cancer patient" or said, "you're cancerous to your team", either way it was between them. Not Villanueva's x amount of "followers" he has on his twitter account. And calling someone cancerous to their team doesn't single out anyone who has ever been affected by cancer. It's an analogy. Next time pull up your skirt and let your play do the talking for you, not your social network.
